Addendum as follows to the Notification No:RDPR 80 GPK 2021 (E), Dated:05-07-2024, The

draft of the Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation Of transfers of Senior Panchayat Development

Officers, Panchayat Development Officers, Gram Panchayat Secretaries and Rural Development Assistant

Grade I and 2 and Second Division Accounts Assistants) Rules, 2024 which the Government of Karnataka

proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with section 8 of

the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) is hereby given that the said draft

will be taken into consideration after the expiry of seven days from the date of its publication in the Official

Gazette.

Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the State Government from any person with

respect to the said draft before the expiry of the period specified above will be considered by the State

Government, Objections and suggestions may be addressed to the Additional Chief Secretary to

Government (Panchayat Raj), Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, M.S Building,

Bengaluru-560001.

In rule – 4 of the said rules after the words provided that, the following is inserted. “Those employees of Category – 1 who have completed 7 years of

continuous service in a taluk will not be posted to a Gram Panchayath in the

same taluk.”
