Proposal:

As per the policy resolution of the State Government vide Government Order dated 05-09-2022 read in (6) above, orders have been issued for implementation of Cashless Karnataka Arogya Sanjeevini Yojana (KASS). Accordingly, detailed guidelines will also be issued for implementation of the scheme as detailed in the Government policy.

In the Government Order dated 22-07-2024 read in (3) above, orders have been issued to implement the recommendations of the 7th State Pay Commission regarding revision of pay scales and specific allowances attached to pay and revision of pension. Accordingly, detailed orders have been issued implementing the revised pay scales vide Government Order dated 23-08-2024 read in (4) above.

The Government has accepted the recommendations of the 7th State Pay Commission regarding the revision of rates of Medical Allowance available to Group-C and Group-D State Government Employees. Accordingly, the following order is issued.

The Government is pleased to revise the rates of Medical Allowance available to State Government employees working in Group-'C' and Group-'D' Group posts from Rs.200/- per month to Rs.500/- per month with effect from 1st August 2024.
