RRB ALP Recruitment 2024
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Ministry of Railways, Government of India, started the registrations for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP). A total 5695 vacancies will be under 21 zones of the Indian Railways. The online application process for RRB ALP 2024 exam is started on 20 January and the last of application is 19 Feb. Educational Qualification
Candidates seeking to apply for the post should be 10th class passed and hold ITI from a recognized institute of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio/TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature and coil winder, Mechnical (Diesal), Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic.
Or
10th Passed with three Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronics/Automobile Engineering or a combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognized institution in lieu of ITI.
ALP AGE LIMIT
The minimum age to apply is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years
Selection Method 2024
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of:
First Stage CBT
Second Stage CBT
Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)
Document Verification
Medical Exam
Exam Pattern and Syllabus
Number of Questions - There will be 75 questions on Maths, Mental Ability, General Science and General Awareness as per RRB ALP syllabus.
Marks - 1 mark will be given to each question and 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer..
Qualifying Marks - UR and EWS - 40%, OBC NCL - 30%, SC - 30%, ST - 25%
Time - 1 hour
